Bea Luengo
Born in Madrid, Spain, 1991.

My process flows in the space of encounter among various voices and media (science, writing, photography, painting) experimenting to try to give a place to the deepest of what we feel and make it visible. A place opened. Love, now, just being.


Graduated in Fine Arts in 2014 by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with a year abroad in the ESACM in Clermond-Ferrand, France (2013-2014). In 2015, finishes the International Master’s Degree in Contemporary Photography and Personal Projects in EFTI (Madrid). Collective exhibitions “PhotoEspacioOculto” in Espacio Oculto Madrid (2014), “Hacia dónde mirar” in EFTI (Madrid, 2016), «LibrArte» (Burgos, 2018). Participation in “PLURAL 17” in Espacio Unonueve (Madrid, 2017), «Descubrimientos PHotoEspaña 2017», “PA-TA-TA Festival 2017” in “Proyecta tu maqueta” (Granada), and “Photobook Dummies Exhibition” in Lisbon, «FIEBRE» Festival (Matadero, Madrid) and «Dispara Xestión Cultural» (Galicia) with «Lisbon’s Photobook Fair». Finalist of the award “Landskrona Festival Foto Dummy Award 2017” (Sweden) and winner of the I edition of the photobook award «Fotolibro <40» in 2018 with Archivo Arqueológico de la Arquitectura Encontrada, co-published by the Comunidad de Madrid and PHREE. Selected between the best photography books of the year in PHE 2019, collective exhibition in Biblioteca Nacional de España in Madrid.
